Die Forellenbegonie bevorzugt einen hellen, halbschattigen Standort. Bei dauerhaftem direktem Lichteinfall kann sie sich Verbrennungen zuziehen. Du solltest die Erde immer leicht feucht halten, aber unbedingt Staunässe vermeiden. Im Winter kannst du etwas weniger gießen. Normale Raumluftfeuchtigkeit macht der Forellenbegonie nichts aus, dennoch freut sie sich, wenn du ihre Blätter gelegentlich besprühst oder den Staub mit einem feuchten Tuch abwischt.

The best place for this plant would be partially shaded without direct sunlight. Direct sunlight can damage the leaves. High air humidity is not as important for Begonias, but it will be grateful if you spray the leaves with some water every now and then (also if you remove the dust from its leaves with a moist towel).
